Women
Under Lisa’s stewardship, interested and interesting women gather each semester to study together, to get to know each other and their perspectives from around the world, and to learn what God has to say about life as we live it. Semesters run from August - November and March - June. You can join at any time. For more information, contact Lisa
English speaking group: Wednesday mornings, from 10am -12pm at Christ Church. Spanish speaking groups: Thursdays, 10am.
Men
Every Wednesday morning from 8.00am to 9.00am, the community men meet for a round of conversations, connecting with friends, and starting the day with prayer. Once or twice a month there is a social get-together with a proper Uruguayan asado.
Alpha Course
Looking for answers on questions of faith? The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith in an open and non-intimidating way through 12 weekly sessions that invite reflection. It’s practical, friendly and fun.
Moreover, in this quest you are not alone. More than 16 million people worldwide have participated in an Alpha Course in churches, homes, schools, workplaces, universities and prisons, and found that the course has been an eye-opening experience of growing faith and understanding.
We host the Alpha Course in English and Spanish on an ongoing basis. We would love for you to join as a participant (or, if you have already done the Course, as a host and facilitator for our guests!)
What we do for Adults
We are not meant to face life alone. We need each other, and faith grows best when lived with others. Small groups are where LIFE happens! Our regular small group meetings give you the opportunity to rediscover faith, hope and love for yourself, your family and your friends. Our motto: Share your joys and see them doubled, share your sorrows and see them diminish! Experience God´s power and presence for your life. Learn to trust God, read the Bible and pray for real answers. We invite you to join us at any time. It is never too early and never too late to participate.
